Sir Evans is no stranger to loss. In 2006 he lost his mother, in 2009 he lost his sister, in 2018 he lost his father and in 2022 he lost his brother. Instead of allowing those experiences to take him to a place of depression and hopelessness, he used them to inspire, empower and motivate himself, which later turned into a voice that does the same for others.

Over a decade ago, SIR weighed 525 pounds and after leaving so many years behind, he finally started to live one. One day, he finally came to the realization that if God continued to wake him up, he would take each day one day at a time.

Sir began a painful transformation, where the negativity he experienced was converted and his tragedy transformed into triumph.

In 2022, he delivered his first TEDx Talk at his alma mater, Bowling Green State University. He shared how “creativity is the fuel that powers both rich and poor alike and when we empower people with freedom for ideas, they are able to use their imagination toward new discoveries that can benefit society”.

Since losing several family members, Sir has been an advocate for mental health, grief and spiritual wellness.
