There have been wildfires raging on through forests on the west coast for over a month now. The results have been devastating to the wildlife and homeowners especially in California and surrounding states. It’s so bad that the state of Washington has been left in a layer of smoke, which has cast the whole area into a smog-like area for weeks.
Over time the smoke will begin to subside and the air will be clear yet again. Oftentimes I have found myself with my mind in a cloud of smoke, how about you?. Life can be stressful, and sometimes we feel that there is no need to talk about our problems or share them with others. Sometimes it’s because we don’t like to talk negatively or it’s because we don’t want to put the smoke in our minds into the world, because then the stress can be seen by the world.
“Refraining from what we feel to be negative talk is only creating spoiled negative thoughts in our minds & once something spoils it begins to impact the area that it inhabits”.
The good thing is that talking about issues allows the smoke to clear out of our minds. This is beneficial because we can see things clearer, the potential fire in your mind can be extinguished and rebuilding can begin. Refraining from what we feel to be negative talk is only creating spoiled negative thoughts in our minds and once something spoils it can begins to impact the area that it inhabits. Everybody is going through something, no matter how glamorous their life looks or how much they “don’t” talk about what they’re going through. Don’t be so hesitant to air out your mind, because with smoke there is often fire, which isn’t easy to see when the smoke has engulfed the scene.
