Everybody is not spiritually enlightened, Emotionally intelligent, mentally healthy or physically active. Just because you’re strong in one area, doesn’t mean you aren’t weak in another. The same exercises that are used to strengthen one facet of your existence, won’t always strengthen another. Hence why doctors, pastors, trainers, life coaches, and therapists are separate professions. Hence why there are so many emotionally abusive, out of shape spiritualist and so many intellectuals that lack spirituality or emotional intelligence.

A lot of times we judge the methods others use for personal development without analyzing what they’re training for and why they’re training. On the other hand, some simply use the right remedies for the wrong problem! Sure! I believe in God and Jesus is my savior, however, a spiritual remedy won’t always help an emotional, physical or mental problem. Recommending therapy may be beneficial for someone dealing with emotional or mental distress, but a personal trainer, nutritionists or dietician would be better suited for physical ailments.

I believe that all roads lead to one source of power, but there is a reason we were even given those roads, to begin with. Don’t discredit the roads you haven’t traveled or mastered, and if someone gives you a roadmap (advice) for a road (problem) that’s unfamiliar, it doesn’t mean the roadmap is wrong or the advice is bad, perhaps you just haven’t traveled that road yet.
