According to science, human beings are comprised of three primary energy sources; thermal, mechanical, and electric. But there’s more to energy than meets the eye and how you manage it can literally make you or break you down. The law of Thermodynamics states that energy is always conserved. It is neither created nor destroyed only transferred or converted from one form to another. I think that there are a couple of other things that are constantly transferred or converted and two of which are power and stress.
We encounter stressors daily of different magnitudes and we also encounter various amounts of power on any given day of the week. This is important to keep in mind because it means that we were never designed to hold on to power or stress, it is always to be transferred to something or someone or to be converted into something else. For instance, the task of a power converter is to process the flow of energy. What are you using to process the flow of stress in your life? What is serving as your trauma converter? You are a power converter and you have a certain amount of power each day to process the flow of various energies that come into your life.
“You are a power converter and you have a certain amount of power each day to process the flow of various energies that come into your life”.
If you choose to use that power to process the wrong energy, then you could potentially end up with more stress and less power. You could also be transferring negative energy to negative people, and if your circle consists mostly of these types of people then where do you think that energy will come back to eventually? You! This moment in your life shall pass, despite the pleasure it brings or the burden it bears. How you convert and transfer the energy in your life will determine your sustainability as a source of power.
